Turn Around is a volunteer based charity project with a proven track record of providing effective one-to-one numeracy, literacy and English language support to adults and children.
We help people to improve their literacy and numeracy through free one-to-one tuition, enabling both children and adults to Turn their lives Around by building essential life skills and seizing social and economic opportunities.
Volunteers at Turn Around aim to nurture understanding and confidence in all our students, by providing a safe and non-judgemental environment for learning. Our volunteer tutors help students achieve their learning goals and note their progress every step of the way.
Our service provision is Bromley and the surrounding areas. Learning sessions are free and open to all levels of ability. Those interested are welcome to drop in at The Exchange during opening hours. Or phone 01689 835079 or email to make an appointment at a convenient time.
"Turn Around maintains a substantial library for reference, lending and educational purposes and offers informal help and ‘signposting’ where possible with such things as CVs, pathways to further education or careers, and with networking with a view to volunteering, employment or work placement."
