The Exchange was opened in 2006 in order to provide a permanent base for Turn Around. Over the years, thanks to many generous donations, a rich and varied resource for education and leisure has been built up.
Turn Around is looking for volunteers who are competent in literacy and numeracy and who are interested in helping people turn their lives around.

Find out more about our teaching methodTurn Around volunteers are recruited from many walks life, including retirees, parents with school age children and young people who may be considering a career in teaching or wanting to gain some work experience. Training is provided and all volunteers are given a handbook and invited to regular in-house training days. Turn Around volunteers are kind, patient, non-judgmental and they care about their students progress.
